Biographie

[313]. COELSIN, prêtre de l'ancien diocèse de Tréguier, émigra en Angleterre lors de la Révolution française, y rencontra les directeurs du Séminaire des M.-E. réfugiés à Londres, et partit le 18 août 1796 pour les missions, mais sans destination précise. Il était en compagnie de trois autres partants : Montalant, Gaillard, Barrault. En traversant le golfe de Gascogne, le navire fut capturé par un corsaire français et conduit à Bordeaux. Coelsin fut emprisonné avec ses compagnons, et dès lors nous ignorons son sort.
