The IRFA counts 800 linear meters of archives produced by the Missions Étrangères de Paris priests over the course of their missions.

This collection constitutes a documentation of exceptional continuity, going back to the middle of the 17th century, which makes it the oldest source available in France for documenting the history of certain Asian countries.
